FAQs

These are some of the Frequently Asked Questions by our readers.

Q: This sort of review sites are dime in the dozen.  What is so different about your site?
A: We as a team pride ourselves as givers of true reviews. Products reviewed are normally the ones hot in the marketplace.  Irrespective of whether we are affiliates or not, the team aim to provide an honest review.  In other words, if the product/program is lousy, we will tell you!!

Q: What are the sources of your reviews?
A: For most of the programs reviewed, we are actually the users ourselves. These were purchased by us  or some product authors  were kind enough to give us  copies for reviews.  For those products that we are not given privy to, we spend hours of research on the net to investigate the various aspects of the program/product reviewed in order to come up with an overall picture of the review.  What you finally read on the review site is a compilation of  the information and views that was gathered.
That is why most of our reviews are quite comprehensive.

Q: Isn’t this site just another marketing gimmick to get site visitors to click on your links to purchase the products?
A: No.  Though it is true that some of our links are affiliate links (not all of them),  what we aim to achieve is to come up with comprehensive reviews of whatever products we are reviewing.  Believe me, for each products reviewed, many hours are spent scouring the internet to ensure that we add value to this review site for the benefit of the readers.  If you find the reviews REALLY helpful to you in making choices and want to show your appreciation to the team, then and only then purchase the products via our links.  That would be a win-win-scenario as it would show the team that their effort is appreciated and in turn encourage the members to continue in this effort.

Q: How does the rating work?
A: We are using the “Star System” for rating purposes as they are easily understood.  The Overall Rating is self explanatory.  The higher the rating, the better the product taking into consideration all the aspects surrounding the product/program.

Value For Money RatingThis is rated on whether the price of the product/program is fair.  The higher the rating, the more value you will get for the money you pay for the product. A low rating shows that the product is not worth the price you pay for.  In other words, overpriced!

Ease Of Use RatingIndicates what skill level you should have before using the product.  A low star rating means that you do require some skills, knowledge and expertise when using the product.  A higher rating means that it is easy to use and that it would be suitable for beginners.

Product Quality RatingShows the care and effort that the author has put into the product. High rating indicates that the product is not a “me too” product.  Rather it is a product that the author can be proud of.

Q: I do not agree with your rating!!

A: No worries.  The ratings are what the team feels as appropriate for the product/program reviewed.  In order to be more interactive, we have incorporated a special software on the site that will enable you as a visitor not only to place your comments but also allows you to provide your own ratings to help other readers.  Your rating is then averaged into the overall ratings that is displayed on the site – 5 being the maximum.

Please assist us by providing your own comments and ratings as this will ensure that the overall ratings will become more “accurate” as more contributors provide their ratings to the products.
